Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark shoves fellow creator Alexis Miestowski to the ground in the ad, reaching for his new Callaway driver, then stands over her and tells her not to touch it. Retailers pulled Good Good merchandise and the company withdrew as title sponsor of a PGA Tour event after the video went live. Callaway pledged $1 million to organizations working to prevent violence against women. Callaway CEO Chip Brewer says Good Good produced the ad and Callaway signed off on it, and that the approval should never have happened. Good Good CEO Matt Kendrick broke an 11-year Twitter silence at 3:38 a.m. to say Callaway requested and approved the ad, then dropped his company in a coordinated media blitz. Asked whether he would sue, he replied, 'Not opposed.'

Brand safety checks built for a handful of major campaigns can't catch problems in creator content that ships in days. Zappi ran the ad past 150 AI synthetic respondents trained on real consumer response data and had the ad's score back in minutes: the lowest possible rating, 1 out of 5. Nearly a third of human testers separately called the ad offensive, unpleasant or disturbing, with shock levels eight times Zappi's norm. Agencies vetting creator partnerships now have a cheap, fast way to run that check before content goes live.
