Fox Corporation's Tubi Media Group, which oversees Tubi and FOX One, announced August 12, 2026 that it renewed its content intelligence agreement with Gracenote, Nielsen's data unit. The deal gives Tubi Media Group access to Gracenote's unique identifiers, human-verified program metadata, imagery and standardized taxonomy for improved content search, recommendations and natural language query responses across its streaming properties. Tubi Media Group will also test Gracenote IDs inside programmatic bid streams to make ad placements more contextually relevant. Tubi Media Group CEO Paul Cheesbrough called the renewal a sign of the company's "commitment to innovation for both consumers and for advertisers across our streaming portfolio."

Contextual targeting on Tubi and FOX One inventory could sharpen as Gracenote IDs enter the programmatic bid stream, giving buyers metadata-backed signals for placement decisions on CTV inventory. Better content search and recommendations on Tubi Media Group's platforms could also extend viewer sessions, changing the inventory buyers see across the two services over time. Gracenote's data footprint, covering more than 55 million titles and 80,000 channels and catalogs across over 80 countries, gives the partnership a scale few identity providers can match.
