Amazon Ads' First Day Ready campaign adds a Kane Brown concert at Wisconsin

Kane Brown will headline a livestreamed concert on September 5 at the University of Wisconsin, the physical centerpiece of Amazon Ads' First Day Ready back-to-school campaign. The campaign, created by Amazon Ads' Brand Innovation Lab, launched online on July 1 with custom video spots, shoppable content and branded storefronts on Amazon.com, and the company made the full campaign public this week. Sponsors Gatorade, Michael Kors and SharkNinja each control a storefront modeled on a campus scene: Gatorade built a tailgate with a bag toss and Propel powders, while Michael Kors created a Jet Set Lounge with a giant inflatable handbag, a photo booth and a charm bar where students collect Michael Kors charms as giveaways. Amazon Ads built the platform first, then added brands whose categories fit the back-to-school moment. On September 5, the campaign moves from digital to physical with a campus block party at the University of Wisconsin, streaming on Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch, Fire TV and Samsung TV.
Every touchpoint, from the concert livestream to the storefront visit to the purchase, feeds back into a single Amazon measurement system, giving sponsors a full-funnel view of the campaign. That consolidation lands as media budgets split further across streaming TV, creator content and in-person activation. Planners assembling campus-season media can point to First Day Ready as a working case of unified measurement across TV, digital and physical execution, all tracked inside one platform.
