Kristin Dolan, chief executive of AMC Global Media, announced the company's second-quarter results for the period ended June 30, 2026, highlighting an expanded relationship with long-term partner Netflix. The two companies reached a global co-exclusive licensing agreement covering the entire Walking Dead Universe, which Dolan said would provide "a meaningful source of cash flow for years to come." AMC also renewed distribution agreements with Comcast and YouTube during the quarter. Citing the value of its intellectual property, the strength of its studio and its partner relationships, particularly in distribution, the company raised its guidance for the full year.

Guidance raised despite falling US advertising revenue signals a company built increasingly on library licensing income and renewed platform distribution deals. Campaigns and upfront conversations tied to AMC's networks and streaming products now sit against that backdrop, with Comcast and YouTube carriage secured and the Walking Dead catalog locked into a multiyear Netflix arrangement. Budget planning across AMC's portfolio benefits from tracking how much of the raised full-year outlook rests on content licensing versus domestic ad sales as the year progresses.
