Total group revenue at Yandex climbed 16% to 386 billion rubles in the second quarter of 2026, while revenue from advertising and promotion services rose 10.3% year on year, the company reported to ppc.world. Turnover from advertising and promotion services, a distinct measure, reached 128 billion rubles, up 12% year on year. Yandex's "Search Services and AI" segment brought in 137.4 billion rubles in revenue, up 9% year on year, and within that segment advertising and promotion revenue from external clients climbed 10.3% year on year, which Yandex says outpaced growth in the broader Russian ad market. The company pointed to sharper ad tool performance and a 55% year-on-year rise in foreign companies' ad spending on Yandex in Russia as growth drivers, and its share of the Russian search market grew to 69.9%. Ad revenue had risen 9% year on year in the first quarter of 2026, reaching 115.4 billion rubles.

Foreign advertisers increased spending on Yandex faster than the Russian ad market grew overall, a trend worth factoring into budget forecasts for campaigns reaching Russian search audiences. Yandex's share of the Russian search market is now nearly 70%, concentrating pricing power and inventory decisions in a single platform and narrowing the negotiating room available to buyers building plans around that market.
