Clinch will integrate with Yahoo DSP's trafficking API under an expanded partnership announced Wednesday, and Yahoo DSP will send audience data to Clinch in real time so the system can pick the right ad for each impression as it renders. Dave Modica, Yahoo's director of business development, told MediaPost the companies built a two-way API to drive that data process. Previously, an advertiser reaching two groups, such as new moms and sports fans, needed two separate campaign lines, each with its own creative so the correct audience saw the correct ad. Now a single campaign can carry creative for both audiences, and Yahoo DSP's first-party, CRM, lookalike, modeled and third-party audience data determines which one Clinch serves at the millisecond an ad renders. Campaigns and line items sync automatically between the platforms, and creative tags publish across display, video and audio without manual trafficking. Clinch joined the Yahoo DSP Agent Network, which connects advertisers to AI-powered agents from 23 technology partners, in June 2026.

Campaign builds shrink from two lines to one for any advertiser splitting a message across audience segments, cutting the setup and trafficking work that delays high-volume omnichannel launches. Creative teams still need assets for each segment, but the decision about which one a viewer sees moves from manual line-level targeting to a millisecond-level call driven by Yahoo DSP's audience data. Agencies running always-on programs across segment splits like new moms and sports fans gain a faster path from creative upload to live serving, with fewer chances for the wrong ad to reach the wrong audience.
