FuboTV closes Disney Ad Server integration, narrows Q3 loss to $25.7M

Sports streaming distributor FuboTV closed its fiscal third quarter with $1.48 billion in revenue and a narrowed net loss of $25.7 million, down from $38 million a year earlier, and said its Disney Ad Server integration is now complete. The tie-up follows FuboTV's early 2025 deal to merge with Disney's Hulu + Live TV service. Paid subscribers rose 2% year over year to 5.75 million, a gain FuboTV attributes in part to its presence on Disney platforms including ESPN. FuboTV and Disney both reported fiscal third-quarter results on Wednesday.

Higher fill rates and higher ad rates are the payoff FuboTV points to now that the Fubo and Hulu + Live TV ad stacks run on one system, and Paramount Skydance made the same case about combined tech stacks in its own earnings call this week. Campaigns planned across FuboTV and Hulu + Live TV inventory face one unified ad server rather than two separate systems, which changes how fill and pricing get reported back to buyers.
