DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev called the agreement "a defining moment for us" as the streaming service pushes into the most lucrative sports market in the world. The deal makes DAZN the exclusive direct-to-consumer outlet for YES Network and MSG Networks starting with the 2026-2027 NBA and NHL seasons, covering the Yankees, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Devils, Islanders and Sabres. Subscribers get 24/7 feeds of MSG, MSG Sportsnet and YES Network plus on-demand highlights and original programming, and pay TV customers who already receive those channels get the DAZN feed at no extra cost. The Gotham Sports App, the current streaming home for both networks, keeps serving existing users without interruption while DAZN and the networks work out the timing of the migration over the coming months.

Media plans built around Yankees, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Devils, Islanders or Sabres audiences consolidate onto one streaming platform, replacing the mix of cable, MSG's own apps and the soon-to-be-retired Gotham Sports App. Regional sports network inventory in the New York market moves further onto direct-to-consumer streaming, with pay TV subscribers keeping their existing access folded into the DAZN feed. DAZN's reach across roughly 200 countries gives the seven teams a larger international audience once the migration completes, and its ad sales and measurement tools become a new checkpoint for buyers planning New York sports campaigns through the 2026-2027 season.
