Six travel brands, Booking.com, Expedia, Viator, GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Trip.com, anchor TikTok Go, a new in-feed booking feature the company introduced for US users on May 13, 2026. The tool lets people browsing videos, search results or location pages view details, check availability and complete a hotel, tour or attraction booking without leaving the app. Local merchants and creators can join the same program: creators who feature hotels, attractions and local services in their videos can connect that content directly to bookings and earn through commissions and creator campaigns. TikTok Go follows last year's in-app hospitality monetization program and the company's recent AI-powered Travel Ads, a catalog-based format built to automate promotion of hotels, flights and destinations.

Travel brands that buy media through Booking.com, Expedia or Viator now have a parallel channel where a creator's video leads straight to a checkout screen, collapsing the gap between discovery and purchase. Attribution gets harder to trace when a booking happens inside TikTok's own checkout screen, so media teams planning travel campaigns need clarity on how these in-app conversions get reported back to them. Local merchants gain a low-cost route to bookings that previously required a listing on a major OTA, and that could shift where travel ad budgets go over the next few quarters.
