The Dreamina video model, ByteDance's implementation of its Seedance 2.0 architecture, is now part of TikTok's Symphony advertising suite. Advertisers, small businesses and creators can enter text prompts, images and reference clips to generate branded video ads directly inside the platform, moving Symphony beyond its earlier script-writing tools into full video automation. TikTok says Dreamina improves consistency of product depictions across video segments to strengthen brand recognition, and the model passed testing by internal safety and intellectual property teams plus third-party red-teaming partners before reaching advertisers. Symphony layers AI labels, safety technology and moderation checkpoints on top of any generated video, and users can reject outputs they don't want to use. Dreamina reached ByteDance's free CapCut editing app in select markets a month before this Symphony rollout.

Brands running TikTok campaigns can produce multiple video variants for testing without booking new shoots, since Symphony generates clips directly from existing prompts and assets. Agencies managing in-app promotions get a faster path from creative brief to live ad, and TikTok's opt-out option means each generated video still needs a human check before it airs. The rollout follows Meta's own AI ad automation and TikTok's prior additions of digital avatars, AI dubbing and the Smart+ automated ad solution, adding another AI layer to TikTok's ad stack ahead of the 2026 holiday planning cycle.
