Adsnex, DeltaX among five Indian startups building agentic media buying

In the nine days before Cannes Lions this year, DoubleVerify, LiveRamp, Pixalate, Mediaocean, Magnite, Yahoo, Stagwell and Fox each shipped a version of autonomous buying or coordination infrastructure, Agency Reporter found. That clustering set the stage for five Indian AdTech companies now building their own pieces of agentic media buying. Adsnex, based in Navi Mumbai, calls its product an advertising operating system, handling pacing, bid adjustments and cross-network budget shifts inside one system in place of five separate dashboards. DeltaX has optimized cross-channel bidding since 2012 and serves more than a thousand advertisers across search, social, display and video, giving it years of proprietary campaign data to train against. Marx AI Technology in Gurugram automates competitor analysis and creative ideation for brand teams while keeping strategic decisions with people. Lumiad in Bengaluru builds scripts, AI-avatar production and performance-informed iteration into one loop for UGC-style video. HockeyCurve in Mumbai treats creative and media delivery as one continuous optimization problem instead of two departments handing off work between them.

Budget orchestration and creative automation are compounding at different rates. Platforms like Adsnex and DeltaX gain an edge that grows with every decision their systems make correctly, while faster script-to-video pipelines like Lumiad's are on track to become a baseline expectation within a couple of ad cycles. The World Federation of Advertisers found that most media buyers are highly or extremely concerned about data privacy when using generative AI for media, and that concern limits how much budget agencies hand these systems to run alone. Media planners are shifting from executing individual bid calls to designing the guardrails autonomous systems operate inside, a change in the job itself that holds regardless of headcount decisions. Agencies evaluating these platforms need to settle who absorbs the cost when an autonomous reallocation goes wrong, since that question is contractual and cultural before it is technical.
