Avito lets ad agencies manage promotions for 700,000 self-employed sellers

More than 700,000 self-employed workers active on Avito can now be managed through Avito Promo, the agency-facing dashboard that previously covered only legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the company told AdIndex. The expanded segment spans sellers and service providers in Avito Tovary, Avito Uslugi, Avito Rabota and Avito Spetstekhnika. Nikolai Sentyurin, head of Avito's agency and strategic partner division, called the change an opening for growth "for all sides." Two billing models apply: "payment on client," where the self-employed seller's own account funds the promotion across all four categories, and "payment on agency," available in Tovary, Uslugi and Spetstekhnika.

Agencies gain a single dashboard to run paid promotion for freelance sellers who previously had to buy visibility on their own, consolidating budgets that were scattered across hundreds of thousands of individual accounts. Self-employed sellers gain professional media buying without hiring in-house marketing staff, freeing them to focus on fulfillment and service delivery. Russia's registered self-employed workforce grew more than a quarter in 2025, giving agencies a fast-growing pool of small-business ad spend to consolidate and manage at scale.
