Deterministic measurement arrives for travel advertisers on TV and streaming, through a partnership Comcast Advertising and Adara, a RateGain company, announced Thursday. Dawn Williamson, chief revenue officer of media solutions at Comcast Advertising, called it "the first of its kind," pairing Comcast's premium video viewing data with Adara's first-party booking and revenue data across two billion traveler profiles, three billion searches and 180 million annual bookings. A tourism bureau serving Florida's Space Coast piloted the approach, shifting from standard campaign measurement to performance reporting focused on families interested in domestic travel. The campaign produced 505,571 hotel searches, 62,000 bookings and nearly $23 million in revenue, a return of nearly 13x on ad spend.

Campaigns that once leaned on TV for top-of-funnel brand storytelling now have a path to prove hotel bookings and dollars against exposure, the same standard search and social have set for years. Comcast is running similar attribution work in automotive through Clarivoy, announced in January 2025, and evaluating categories like supermarkets and home improvement with Mastercard, so travel marketers weighing addressable video budgets will find performance data increasingly available across other channels too. Williamson said Comcast is looking at other industries next, with the average American leisure travel budget already at $6,453 as of February 2026 raising the stakes for measurable returns.
